The Phoenix Coyotes picked up Niko Kapanen (Box 19) off the waiver wire from the Atlanta Thrashers. Kapanen, who still is on one pool team as of today, will move to the struggling Coyotes and probably won't see much more production for the rest of the season.
Bryan Berard (Box 4) was not claimed on waivers today, but he may have to clear re-entry waivers... which doesn't seem possible, since a team like New Jersey would probably take a chance on only half Berard's salary.Technorati Tags
