Canucks Are Done

Stupid Anaheim... with their double overtime win... and their moving onto the next round. Well, that's 97 selections gone down the tubes for this playoff year... it just didn't seem like the Canucks had enough in them to do the business against a well-coached Anaheim team. The Ducks will then go on to face the winner of the Sharks and Red Wings series and they'll get a little bit of a rest before doing so, as that series could go the distance before it's all said and done. There are a lot of pool teams reeling after the loss of their number one goalie, Roberto Luongo... even our main man in first, Rob, he'll be missing his number one guy. On the bright side for him, Mike E., who is chasing him down, lost his first three guys of the playoffs with the loss of the Canucks.

Well, the game-winner belongs to Duck captain, Scott Niedermayer. His two-point effort of a wrist shot beat the Canucks in double overtime and sent them packing, four games to one. It's a rough way to go out, but 43 teams couldn't be too far wrong, having him on their team. Whoever the Ducks face in the Conference Finals will have a tough time trying to contain these Ducks and Niedermayer is a big reason as to why.

Tonight in Buffalo, the Rangers will look to continue their momentum going into Game 5 against the Sabres. The series is tied at two after the Rangers looked after their reputation in their own building, taking both games against the high-flying Sabres. The question is, will they be able to play the same style game against Buffalo in their own building? Henrik Lundqvist vs. Ryan Miller has turned out to be quite the battle thus far... and one of those two will leave with the upper hand tonight. 5pm on TSN.
