Quincey Up, Rafalski Down

The Red Wings, Thursday, called up defenseman Kyle Quincey (non-pool) to take the place of Brian Rafalski (Stuart), who will be sitting out of the game tomorrow against Columbus due to a groin injury.

This is a pretty good sized hit to the Red Wings line-up; Rafalski has 46 points (10G, 36A) in 59 games this season, but the Wings are a resiliant bunch. A tighter defensive game should be all the team needs to continue winning down the stretch.

Unfortunately, in pool terms, his scoring will be missed, especially from the blueline position, where you won't normally get that much scoring from. Our leader in the Draft, Stuart, will hurt without him, especially if it's for an extended period of time.
