The Bruins looked like they could use another defender last night against the Leafs, losing 8-2. But Aaron Ward (Box 22) sat out his second consecutive game with a bruised foot. He had blocked a shot a few days ago and hasn't deemed himself healthy to skate in a game yet. It should just be a day-to-day injury.
