Country Music is Erat's Tune

Good news for the Predators was announced on Monday, as the Predators signed forward Martin Erat to a long term deal. Erat signed a 7-year, $31.5 million deal to keep him in the Music City through 2015. Erat had a very respectable season, finishing in the top 100 in pool scoring this past season having 57 points (23G, 34A) in 76 games for the Predators and should be in consideration for your pool team next season, be it in a mid-round pick.

This brings Nashville's roster total to 16 players for next season at an approximate salary cap hit of $35.3 million. Things are certainly looking up in Nashville for next season.
