Sabres Add Youth

Two new names have been added to the mainstay of the Sabres organization. Forward Tim Kennedy and goaltender Jhonas Enroth were signed to entry-level deals on Saturday.

Kennedy was a Washington draft pick in 2005 and was acquired in a trade last summer for another pick. He signed a 2-year deal, which should bring him to camp. He was a pretty good producer at Michigan State in NCAA hockey, scoring 43 points in 42 games.

In Enroth, the Sabres gain a very good Swedish keeper who has experience with the World Junior team and the Swedish Elite League. At 19, Enroth has much experience to gain within the Sabres organization and won't likely make any big jumps right away. He could very well be a good long-term pick-up for the Sabres and for pool teams in the future.
