Wings Trim Roster

I can't say that I'm terribly surprised, but despite the great pre-season Cory Emmerton was having with the Wings, there just wasn't enough room to keep him on, as a two-way player. Emmerton could likely make a few different line-ups in the league, but when you're dealing with a team with more grizzled veterans than you can shake a water bottle at, you're likely going to lose that battle in a hurry.

Emmerton and three others were cut from the roster, but the Wings are still carrying a few number of players that will get one last look in practice before their season starts on Thursday night
