End of the Line For Brisebois

Another retirement notice to post this morning, as Patrice Brisebois of the Canadiens is prepared to call it a career. At 38 years old, Brisebois had a pretty solid career on the blueline for both the Habs and the Avalanche, playing in 1,009 games over 18 seasons, scoring 98 goals and 322 assists.

He was a middle-of-the-road defender when it came to scoring every season, but over the past few years, injuries had really started to catch up with him and his production suffered because of it.
