Groin Stiffness for Gustavsson

There is a growing concern about the status of Jonas Gustavsson and his mild groin injury. Gustavsson has been held out of practice, for precautionary measures, with stiffness in his groin. So, in keeping with the Toronto panic, I thought it would be good to outline what has been said so far, just in case he is held out of the line-up on Saturday night, when the Leafs face the Penguins.

The Leafs were not saying too much yesterday and it remains to be seen if Gustavsson will be practicing on Thursday or Friday. No starter has officially been named for the Saturday night game, so there should be little panic thus far. He was taken in the Draft by Clayton and he was a pretty popular pick in Box 32 of the Sheet, so there could be a little concern fantasy-wise.
