Jackets Will Sit Filatov

Teams are becoming a little more forthcoming about healthy scratches and the Blue Jackets are no exception. The Jackets have decided to let Nikita Filatov watch a game from the press box, which is tonight's game against the Flames.

So far, Filatov only has one goal in four games with the Blue Jackets this season, but he's only averaging seven minutes of ice-time.

Filatov has not been the breakout player that we've all been waiting for this season. With only the single goal, he hasn't helped all teams that have picked him in Box 9 of the Sheet or John P. in the Draft. Maybe a game watching over top of the team will get him to figure out a thing or two about how to mesh a little bit better, thus helping him to score.
