Sheet Defensemen Woes

A couple more injuries have come down onto Sheet defensemen today. First up, the Penguins have lost Box 29 defenseman, Brooks Orpik, for two weeks, thanks to a lower-body injury. Orpik suffered the injury in the team's last game, which was Tuesday night against the Bruins. Expect him to miss the entire two weeks.

The Maple Leafs gave an update on Mike Komisarek on Thursday morning, saying that he will be out of the line-up for 3-to-4 weeks with a quad muscle strain. Komisarek has been trying to play through the injury over the last few days, but the team has now decided to put him on the shelf and give him the rest he needs to become 100%.
