Wednesday's Sheet News

It looks like Robert Nilsson is back in the coaching staff's doghouse, as he was a healthy scratch, yet again, last night against the Senators. Even with the new coaching staff, he is still working his way up to the press box on the odd night, as he tries to regain some sort of confidence. Nilsson, a Box 7 forward, has only four points in 12 games this year and wasn't taken at all on the Sheet.

Blueline depth has returned Alexander Sulzer back to the press box and likely will get another trip down to the minors before the weekend, as bodies are becoming healthy again for the Predators. Sulzer, a Box 14 defenseman, was thought to be a lock for a 4th, 5th or 6th defenseman, with some offensive upside, which gave him his Sheet spot, but that hasn't worked out yet this year.

The Leafs were without Mike Komisarek after six shifts into Tuesday's game against the Wild after suffering what appeared to be a leg injury. It has also been reported that he wasn't at the team's practice on Wednesday morning, but there was no update as to his condition or his availability for the team's next game, which is Friday night in Chicago. Fantasy-wise, he's terrible, not scoring a point in the first 16 games of the season and it makes you wonder why he was taken twice in the Sheet pool this year. Trade him.
