Lupul Out With a Leg Injury

It's been a rough few weeks for Joffrey Lupul of the Ducks, who has had a couple weeks off because of back spasms, a 3-game return where he scored 4 goals and now has a leg injury, which has kept him out of Friday night's game against the Red Wings. The injury isn't supposed to be major, but he remains questionable for Saturday's game against the Blue Jackets.

ImplicationsIn the Draft, Lupul is a pick of John B.'s, who continues to struggle in the basement. Certainly the injury won't help those struggles.

On the Sheet, Lupul is a working member of Box 5, with three picks to his name. Rene Bourque leads the box with 23 points and Alex Burrows is not far behind with 22. Lupul's 14 points pales in comparison.
