A minor deal on Friday sees the Rangers bulk up their blueline a little bit more with the acquisition of Steve Eminger, while giving up some bulk of their own in Aaron Voros going the other way to the Ducks, plus a prospect.

The deal doesn't really blow off many doors, as Eminger is a depth defenseman in most fantasy pools, but could very well figure into the Rangers' top four, unless some players (which will not be named right here) step up and reclaim the position they are getting paid for.

The acquisition of Voros continues the trend that the Ducks like in their bottom six, the rough and tumble type.  Between Voros and Parros, they should have enough toughness to beat people up into next season.

Cap-wise, this deal is very comparable on both ends, nothing much sways this deal one way or the other to say it was a good deal for either side, but the Rangers did have to pay an extra prospect to get a defenseman capable of playing in their top four.
