Nine forwards, nine defensemen and two goalies hit the ice this morning for the Avalanche Rookie Orientation Camp on Tuesday, according to their website. This should be the last rookie camp listing I'll find, as I have overlooked the Avalanche for the past week, but I don't think the roster was posted until today.The names that I'm keeping an eye out for include Kevin Shattenkirk and Calvin Pickard, moreso the former, as the 2007 1st rounder should be ready to breakthrough and possibly take a 7th defenseman role, at the very least this year.
