The Philadelphia Flyers rookie camp opened on Monday and the new group of hopefuls will have a tough road to travel, if they want to somehow crack the 2011 roster, which looks fairly set even before camp opens. I can't say there is a great number of names that I really recognize or appear to be solid blue-chippers, but guys like Eric Wellwood, Marc-Andre Bourdon and Sergei Bobrovsky do light the bulb a little bit. The Flyers haven't really been known for their drafting in recent memory, although they have hit some home runs with Mike Richards, Jeff Carter, Claude Giroux and James Van Riemsdyk.
