Injury Updates

The Ducks' Joffrey Lupul has been cleared to start working out again in the weight room, but he has not been cleared for some on-ice activity for the time being.  I can't really call him day-to-day yet, as he's not cleared for the ice or any sort of return, so I will have to update his status to indefinitely, without any sort of new update on his condition.

A little slow on the mark with this update, but Predators blueline hopeful, Roman Josi, suffered a broken left wrist last weekend and will be sidelined from action for the next 4-to-6 weeks. Josi has been a favourite of coach Trotz's in the early part of the season to take one of the open blueline positions, but this may open the door a bit wider for either Jonathan Blum or Ryan Ellis to take the job.

The Lightning did indeed have their captain Vincent Lecavalier back in their line-up on Wednesday, as they took on the Blackhawks in Chicago. Lecavalier missed out on some off-season training after some minor knee surgery. Lecavalier will likely go against the Flames on Saturday night in some more preseason action. I don't think there should be any hesitation about taking him in the draft this year.
