NHL Hands Hjalmarsson Two Games

It always seems like suspensions come in groups, don't they? Well, the second suspension of the day was handed to Niklas Hjalmarsson, who was guilty of smashing Jason Pominville from behind in Monday night's game between the Blackhawks and Sabres.  Pominville has suffered a concussion and Hjalmarsson will serve a 2-game suspension for the deed that put him there.

With this suspension, the Box 13 defenseman will miss the two remaining weekday games for the Blackhawks and will be eligible to return on Saturday, when the Blackhawks host the Sabres.
