Sheet Player News (Oct 19)

On Monday night, Box 22 forward Josh Bailey left the game between the Islanders and Maple Leafs with a minor hip flexor injury. Bailey tried to play a shift with the muscle problem, but eventually shut it down for the evening. The morning's reports suggest that the injury is minor and he should be back at it rather soon, but may miss a game or two as a precautionary measure.

On Tuesday, the Coyotes places Box 6 forward Martin Hanzal on the Injured Reserve with an undisclosed lower-body injury.  This should keep Hanzal out of the line-up for at least a week, but the Coyotes are giving 1-to-2 weeks as their time frame, which seems rather reasonable.  Being placed on the IR does mean a minimum of a week away from the line-up regardless.
