Sheet Player News (Nov 23)

The Anaheim Ducks decided to send down three players to their minor league affiliate in the AHL on Monday, which included the now-healthy Box 8 forward Dan Sexton. Sexton had just returned from a badly broken nose and played a conditioning stint in the AHL before making his return to the NHL on the weekend, but since the Ducks do not play until Friday, I would imagine the team would prefer him to get some more playing time before returning.

Two notes worth mentioning from the Flames... the first being the absence of Box 13 defenseman Robyn Regehr and the second being Box 3 forward Matt Stajan, leaving last night's game with an upper-body injury. Regehr was hurt in Sunday's contest against the Red Wings, suffering a lower-body injury after missing a check and hitting the boards awkwardly. He's currently listed as out day-to-day. Stajan, on the other hand, was hit hard by Marc Staal in the open-ice, just crossing the blueline, which resulted in a violent snap of his head. It's pretty easy to believe that Stajan may have suffered a concussion on the play, but he'll need to be evaluated soon.
