Sheet Player News (Nov 6)

Box 30 defenseman Chris Butler has become the odd-man out on a downward falling Sabres team and has become a healthy scratch for the team.  Butler sat on Wednesday night against the Bruins and then again on Friday night against the Canadiens, but since the Sabres have not found ways to win these games, Butler may have a way back into the line-up, just as a change of pace.

An undisclosed injury kept Box 7 forward Curtis Glencross out of the the Flames line-up on Friday night against the Wild.  There was no indication of when he was hurt or what he actually hurt, for that matter.  The injury was enough to keep him out of the line-up and I would guess that it is likely he'll miss at least one more game as well.

A sore neck was enough to keep Box 21 forward Ryan Callahan out of the Rangers line-up on Friday night. Callahan is more of a rough and tumble type player, so the neck is likely a very important body part to keep healthy.  Callahan is currently listed as out day-to-day, so I would expect him back some time soon, possibly in another game or two.
