Sheet Player News (Dec 17)

The Calgary Flames welcomed Matt Stajan back to their line-up after being a healthy scratch for a couple games and the coaching staff made room for him by scratching another (thought-to-be) key component of the team in Curtis Glencross.  Glencross has been point-less in his last three games and a trip to the press box was warranted.

On Thursday night, Box 14 defenseman Rostislav Klesla suffered a lower-body injury against the Oilers and had to leave the game. Klesla's injury has not had any details attached to it, as of Friday afternoon, but it does sound like he'll be missing some time. If I don't hear anything major, I will just list him as being out day-to-day.

After a number of healthy scratches, the Montreal Canadiens have decided to send Dustin Boyd down to Hamilton of the AHL to get some playing time.  Boyd cleared waivers on Thursday and was sent down immediately after.  I would imagine we'll see the Box 23 forward with the big club before too long.
