Sheet Player News (Dec 21)

It looks like the revolving door for forwards is continuing to spin around and around, as Box 9 forward Mikael Backlund was the odd-man out on Monday night against the Minnesota Wild. Curtis Glencross was able to check back in for the team, but that move didn't seem to work, as the Flames dropped another decision to their division foe, 4-1.

An undisclosed injury to Box 13 defenseman Nick Schultz was enough to keep the veteran defenseman out of the line-up for the Wild against the Flames. There is no word as to the severity of the injury, so gauging how long he'll be out for is nearly impossible at the moment.  For now, we'll consider him out day-to-day and hope that we get some more details before the Wild's next game, Thursday in Colorado.
