It sounds like the remainder of the playoffs are in doubt for Buffalo Sabres forward Jason Pominville, after he suffered a laceration to his left leg on Friday night, in Game Five versus the Flyers. Pominville left the game and did not return, reportedly seen on crutches on the way out of the building. There has been no update on his status for Game Six or the remainder of the playoffs as of yet, but things are not sounding too good. Stay tuned!
Pominville is the current leader in point for Box 16, so he could be missed dearly, especially to the four teams that had picked him up this year. Pominville has a game-winning goal and 3 assists in five games for the Sabres in these playoffs.
