In a deal between the Rangers and Blues, New York sent prospect Evgeni Grachev to St. Louis for a 3rd round pick, giving Grachev a new spot to tryout in his bid to become a full-time NHL'er. Grachev, a former 3rd round pick in 2008, did see some time with the big club in 2011, but failed to make an impact with the club, so it was time for him to move on.  St. Louis could definitely be a good place for him to fit.
