Draft Player Scratches (Oct. 29)

On Friday night, the Colorado Avalanche decided to scratch forward T.J. Galiardi for their game against the Edmonton Oilers, which isn't the first time he had found the press box. Galiardi has only 1 goal in eight appearances with the club this season, where the team has an open competition for ice-time and the best way to earn it is some scoring production.

I'm not sure that Galiardi has done enough to be a regular scratch as of yet, but he's obviously on the list of regular scratches, if the coach thinks the line-up needs a bit of shake-up.

In the draft, Ryan M. is currently hurting from the lack of production from Galiardi, as the Avs forward is one of five players on his draft team that has 1 point or less this season.  Ryan currently holds the basement position in the standings, 6 points from moving up to 21st as of right now.
