Josefson Out Indefinitely

Bad news for the Devils' young centre Jacob Josefson, as he suffered a broken clavicle on Friday night against the San Jose Sharks, falling awkwardly and hard into the end boards.  There is no immediate word as to how long the youngster will be out, but it would be fair to assume that six weeks will be the minimum expected time away, but until there is official word, we'll just call it indefinite.

It hasn't been a great start to the season for Josefson, having only 1 assist in the first five games of the year.  The Devils were likely expecting to see some better things from the offensive centre, but that has not been the case.

With Josefson now on the shelf, the Devils have called up Adam Henrique to fill in his spot.

ImplicationsNot good news for John P. in the draft, as he was hoping for some big things from this kid. Josefson joins Andy McDonald of the Blues on the injured list from John's team, which currently sits in 17th place, 15 points out of 3rd spot.

Obviously having seen the news, John posted a message on the trash talk... "Holy shit. I'm fading fast. Appears my team is a fragile group."
