Sheet Player News (Oct. 26)

A nagging lower-body injury has finally taken Hurricanes forward Anthony Stewart out of the line-up on Tuesday night against the Senators. Stewart has been reportedly been dealing with this injury problem for a little while now and he finally took some time away from practice earlier in the week and has now missed a game, so this injury might need to be healed before he gets back into the line-up.  The Hurricanes have called up Zach Boychuk to fill in his spot for the moment, so another sheet player can possibly pick up some points in his absence.

Things do not appear to be getting better for Niclas Bergfors and his new situation with the Nashville Predators, as he was a healthy scratch again on Tuesday night, when the team took on the San Jose Sharks. Bergfors has not been terribly effective for his new club and I am beginning to wonder if the Box 8 forward will be sticking around in Nashville for very much longer. The kid has shown some flashes in his short time in the NHL, but hasn't found a permanent residence in a line-up as of yet.
