Conditional 7th Round Draft Pick

Not a great deal here, but the Tampa Bay Lightning get the oft-scratched defenseman Mike Commodore out of Detroit for a nothing pick in the draft, although, the Red Wings do love those late round picks.  Commodore goes back to the Lightning, where he won a Cup in 2004, and the Bolts add a little bit more depth to their blueline, as they try to win the Southeast Division or scratch their way into the playoffs.

This trade has no impact on the pools this year, he was way too deep in the depth chart for the Red Wings to have any value.  With Victor Hedman and Marc-Andre Bergeron hurt, the Lightning had to do something, which may mean Commodore could hit the playoff pool, by default.
