Sheet Player News (Feb. 26)

The hockey term of being 'railroaded' gets used quite often, but I don't think there has been a better time to use the phrase then when Chris Neil of the Senators hit Johnny Boychuk of the Bruins.  Boychuk got caught with his head down in his own zone and Neil caught him with a clean body check, perfectly lined-up and it was devastating.  The Box 29 defenseman managed to scrape himself off the ice, but he was not able to return to the game and there is a genuine fear that he has suffered a concussion on the play.  The hit was so hard, Neil actually knocked the wind out of himself on the play, but he was good enough to continue and stand up for himself for the hit on Boychuk.

Until there is definitive word on Boychuk, he'll be day-to-day with an undisclosed injury, but do expect him to be out indefinitely with a concussion.
