Jets Lose Kane for Two

The fourth notable suspension of the hockey pool season came down on Monday afternoon, as Winnipeg Jets forward Evander Kane was handed two games for his hit on Anaheim's Clayton Stoner on Sunday.

The Jets forward will now miss Tuesday's game in Dallas and Thursday's game in Denver before coming back on Saturday, when the team that Kane earned his suspension against, the Ducks, comes back to Winnipeg for a vengeful engagement.

ImplicationsIn 20 games this season, Kane has picked up 10 points for Grant K., who starts the second segment in 7th place with 213 points, 16 points out of the money. Grant also leads the pool in goals scored with 83, with Kane only accounting for 4 of those goals.  Missing out on only two games shouldn't have the biggest impact on his season, but it may have a small impact on his week, only missing out on 1 point, if the scoring rate worked out to be true.
