Goalie Announcements (Oct 17)

Only two teams remain on the wrong side of qualifying for Week Three in the goalie survivor pool, as Derek & Dan and Tony are still in need of wins and fortunately for them, they both have keepers going on Saturday night.

Saturday night will see the season debut of Alex Stalock in the San Jose net, thanks to back-to-back nights with games on the East Coast for the Sharks, as Martin Jones has been doing most of the heavy lifting for San Jose thus far.  Derek & Dan's goalie does have their work cut out for them, as Jaroslav Halak will also make his 2016 season debut for the New York Islanders, giving Dale B. a lift in his lineup, thanks to a return from a preseason injury.

For Tony, he'll get another shot from Detroit's Petr Mrazek, who earned him his Week One win to enter the pool.  Mrazek will get the uphill challenge of taking on Carey Price (John S.) and the Montreal Canadiens, who have been hot to start the season.  That will be a tough game for Tony to stay in this week.
