Afternoon Player Notes in the Draft (Dec 21)

The Columbus Blue Jackets are going to keep things interesting on the news page on Monday, as they get set for their last game before the Christmas Break.  Nick Foligno is coming out of the lineup for the game against the Penguins, as he is dealing with an undisclosed injury, likely from Saturday's contest, but that's unconfirmed.  He's day-to-day right now and should get more than enough rest over the break to return on Saturday in Tampa Bay.  Non-pool forward Rene Bourque will take his spot in the lineup tonight.

Drawing back into the lineup is defenseman Jack Johnson, who had missed the last couple of games with an upper-body injury.  With all the injury problems this team has been having, it's good to see they're getting something back before the break.  With Johnson heading back in, Kevin Connauton has been designated as the player coming out as a healthy scratch.

Cindy has the forward coming out of the lineup, due to injury, which doesn't help her team, that is on the rise at the moment.  Jeremy gets a defenseman back, as his team looks to make it to the top before the break happens, for whatever that's worth.  Finally, Wes sees his defenseman come out, as a scratch, one that could keep him out of the absolute basement and help him with his PIM pool cause.
