Goalie Announcements (Dec 10)

It's Thursday night, there's a pretty good jam-packed schedule of games, but there isn't a great deal of survivor pool intrigue going into the night, as there are only two teams left that need to qualify. Tonight, Allan's team will get two shots to earn their way into Week Eleven, while Derek W. will have to wait just a little bit longer.

It might not be the first game on the docket on the night, but Allan see will get to see the pool debut of his Waiver Draft help in this pool, Winnipeg's Connor Hellebuyck, who will get the start for the Jets, as they take on Curtis McElhinney (non-pool) and the Bobrovsky-less Blue Jackets.  Without a number one in Columbus, there is a good chance the Jets could register this win.

But before Hellebuyck gets the shot for Allan, Ben Bishop will go for the Lightning against Craig Anderson and the Senators.  This will be a solid test for the Bolts, certainly not a gimme game, by any stretch of the imagination.

So, with all of that being done in the survivor pool, it sounds like Al Montoya will also make his pool debut tonight, as the Florida Panthers are hosting the Washington Capitals, who are also throwing a non-pool goalie in the crease tonight, Philipp Grubauer.

Let the games begin!
