Goalie Announcements (Dec 19)

Sure, we've already seen a couple of games been played today, but they didn't have any mention of the goalie survivor pool, so we won't worry too much about that right now.

Dale B. has one more shot at qualifying for Week Twelve tonight, as the Islanders are in the desert, taking on the Coyotes at 7pm MT.  Jaroslav Halak will get the call for the Islanders and he'll get Louis Domingue (non-pool) at the other end, improving the chances of Dale moving on to next week.

You wouldn't think a headline night like Saturday would have so many non-pool goalies going, but that appears to be the case tonight.  On top of Domingue, there will also be Matthew Murray for the Penguins, Keith Kinkaid for the Devils and Joonas Korpisalo for the Blue Jackets.  Injuries have been a problem for the goalies this season and this is the culmination of those injuries here tonight... except for Kinkaid, likely getting a scheduled start ahead of Cory Schneider (Troy).

Our pool leader, John P., didn't get a win from his only goalie going today, as Chad Johnson and the Sabres lost to Corey Crawford (Stuart) and the Blackhawks.  Jeremy doesn't have any goalies going today, while Neil will have Cam Ward in for the Hurricanes, taking on the Penguins tonight.  Those are your money teams to start the night and we'll only have one active goalie between the lot.

Puck drops in only 45 minutes for the rest of the evening!
