Player Notes in the Draft (Dec 26)

It sounds like Kris Letang is ready to jump back into the Penguins' lineup, as he was in the team's pregame line rushes with Olli Maatta and the number one power play unit, which gives you the inclination that he'll be ready to go tonight against the Wild.  He has been out since December 10th with an upper-body injury and was originally thought to be out a couple weeks, so he should be right on time now.

Just in time for Jeremy, who sees his team going into Saturday night, 3 points out of 2nd and 7 points out of 1st and he's the kind of defenseman that can help out an offense, especially one that needs an extra push.

The Detroit Red Wings are not expecting to have their top rookie, Dylan Larkin, out for their Boxing Day match against the Nashville Predators, as he is currently listed as out day-to-day with an upper-body injury. No surprise to say that there are very few details about his injury or his possible timetable for a return, but don't expect to see him tonight and we'll keep an eye out for more news.

Grant did not get off to a great start to the week during Monday and Tuesday night, only having 4 points this week, heading into Saturday night.  Larkin has 3 points in seven games, since being picked up at the Waiver Draft a few weeks ago.  He needs to be healthy, if Grant is to stay out of last place in the standings.
