Goalie Announcements (Jan 17)

It's a busy Sunday, where there are seven games on tap and we don't have a lot of intrigue in the survivor pool until tomorrow, when the week resets, so we'll have a look at whose got who playing tonight.

There are not a lot of full match-ups announced yet this morning, but here is what we do know, thanks to goaliepost.com.

In Chicago, Corey Crawford is getting the start for Stuart, who is 4th in weekly scoring this week.  He'll be getting the nod against Ben Scrivens (Dropped) and the Montreal Canadiens in one of the evening games today.  Scrivens has yet to win a game for the Habs, since being acquired, which has to lean the way of the Hawks today, right?

Meanwhile, in Detroit, the Red Wings are hosting the Flyers and we'll see Petr Mrazek (Tony) taking on Michal Neuvirth (Neil) in this one.  The two pool teams involved are in the bottom half of the weekly standings, so they could really use a boost from their goalies today.

Goalies that we know are going include Eddie Lack (Wes) for Carolina, Ryan Miller (Clayton) for Vancouver, Roberto Luongo (Kristy & Don) for Florida and Antti Raanta (Benson) for the Rangers.  Their opponents are only suggested, not confirmed and then the Los Angeles/Anaheim game is completely unconfirmed, so I won't really try to offer up a guess.

Nevertheless, the week is coming to a close and we move just a little bit closer to the next Waiver Draft, where we can take on some of those non-pool goalies, helping the pool to collect minutes and points in the end.
