Goalie Announcements (Jan 19)

After both surviving teams failed to capitalize on their two starts last night, the intrigue moves on to the second night of the week and it does get a little bit more interesting.

Both teams have the possibility of one goalie going tonight, but Allan appears to be getting the shaft tonight, because the Tampa Bay are opting to go with Andrei Vasilevskiy (Mike) tonight, instead of Ben Bishop, with Edmonton in town.  The Oilers, who beat Florida last night, should probably go with Anders Nilsson (Cindy) on back-to-back nights, which will be his first start in a while.

Most indications are suggesting that Jeremy will still have Braden Holtby going for the Capitals tonight, as they go into Columbus and visit the newly-healthy Sergei Bobrovsky (Troy), who will be making his first start in weeks, thanks to lower-body injury problems.

A win tonight for the Capitals could really give Jeremy a leg up in this competition, with a very intriguing finish to the week ahead with Allan's goalies.

Troy will have his other goalie going tonight as well, good news for him in the money race, as Cory Schneider will get the start for the Devils, as they play host to Jonas Hiller (Grant) and the Flames tonight.

Otherwise, there's a lot of number one goalies going tonight, so we'll likely see a buttload of points for the pool for a few of us.  Not all, but probably for most.
