Morning Player Notes in the Draft (Jan 5)

Some more tests needed to be done, including an MRI, on Jiri Hudler's lower-body injury and the Calgary Flames confirmed that the veteran forward will not be available for Tuesday night's game, as they play host to the Tampa Bay Lightning.  Hudler is currently listed as day-to-day at the moment, but once all the tests are confirmed, I would imagine that we will see something a little more concrete for a diagnosis.

Pool ol' Grant, he just can't catch a break this season.  His team is 15 points behind John R.'s 26th place team and a loss of another scoring player won't help his cause at all.

The New York Rangers are likely going to play it safe with forward Chris Kreider, who suffered a lacerated hand over the weekend, likely going to replaced by the newly-recalled Jayson Megna, to save him from suffering any sort of infection.  He is listed as out day-to-day for right now and it doesn't sound like the team expects him to be out of the lineup for very long.

Kreider only has 18 points in 39 games this season for the Rangers and for Stuart in the pool, so there's a chance that Stuart will miss out on a point, if he misses a couple games with this injury.  Stuart sits in 6th, 12 points out of the money and needs those points.
