Gallagher to Miss Three Weeks

There's no question that it has been a rough year for Montreal Canadiens forward Brendan Gallagher, as injuries have really limited his season and all of that early season expectation hasn't been close to being reached.

On Tuesday, the team announced another speed bump in his season, as he will now be on the shelf again for another 2-to-3 weeks, due to the lower-body injury he suffered on the weekend.

In only 49 games this season, Gallagher ranks 166th overall in pool scoring with 18 goals and 35 points, which is a pretty good total, considering the issues he's already faced this year.

And despite still being a pretty good bargain pick for Derek & Dan this season (8th round, 211th overall), they were still hoping for bigger and better things, as the lone bright spot on their side.  Since they declared to the PIM pool, he may have been a bit of a disappointment there, having only 22 PIM to his name this year.  I think we all expected just a little bit more there.
