Goalie Announcements (Apr 6)

Only three games on the docket tonight, including the last game at Rexall Place for the Oilers. In net for the home side will be Cam Talbot, giving Brian another start to work with, as he continues to build on his 3rd place padding. At the other end, it will be Jacob Markstrom (Wes) and the Canucks, trying to shut down the old building on a sour note.  This is an early start, 5pm MT, which was a schedule change from the beginning of the year.

In other action tonight, the Blue Jackets are in Toronto for a battle of Eastern Conference duds, taking on the Maple Leafs.  In this one, we should see Sergei Bobrovsky (Troy) taking on Garret Sparks (Ryan).  Ryan is clinging on to what little hope he has for 3rd place and it would continue nicely with a goose egg against those lowly Jackets.

Finally, a battle of non-clinched, playoff spot holding East teams in the 6pm MT slot, as the Detroit Red Wings are hosting the Philadelphia Flyers.  Steve Mason (Derek W.) is going for the visitors, while Jimmy Howard (Stacey M.) has been running with the ball for the home side, so it will be an interesting game, this one.  Both teams looking to stay ahead of Boston in this one.
