Afternoon Player Notes in the Playoffs (May 2)

Only one game on the docket tonight, as Game 3 between the Capitals and Penguins goes tonight at the Igloo in Pittsburgh.  Lots going on leading up to this one, as the Penguins will retain a little momentum from winning Game 2, they get to head home and both teams will be without key non-pool defensemen, so it will be very interesting to see how either team responds to these circumstances in Game 3.

The Capitals will be without physical defenseman Brooks Orpik for the next three games, thanks to his suspension for the high hit on Olli Maatta, who will be out on the other side for an undetermined amount of time.  Will Justin Schultz draw back in to the lineup tonight?  We'll just have to see.
