Off-Season Injury Notes (Sep 14)

Some injury news that may have slipped through the cracks in this off-season was the status of Islanders forward Mikhail Grabovski, who has been dealing with post-concussion syndrome and the latest update is not at all positive.  It doesn't sound like his symptoms have subsided very much at all in the off-season and the chances of him making the push for the lineup very limited.

His 2016 season was limited to 58 games, where he scored 25 points, but with these concussion problems lingering, his projections have now taken a pretty solid hit, dropping him down to the 5-point mark, assuming that he could even draw in at some point this season.  I wouldn't be taking many gambles on him.

On a positive note, the Philadelphia Flyers are expecting to have defenseman Michael Del Zotto as close to 100% as he will possibly get, after wrist surgery, where he likely won't get full motion back, but it sounds like he's feeling pretty good and we should expect to see him in key roles for the Flyers, starting in training camp.

His early projections of 25 points were already reflecting his return to the lineup, so there is a full expectation that he should be able to hit those numbers, at the very least.  Here's hoping he can stay healthy, so he can be a key piece to your team's offense.
