Noon Player Notes in the Draft (Nov 6)

The Dallas Stars are not done with the injury situation yet today, as they lost the services of Jason Spezza last night against the Blackhawks in the first half of a home-and-home series and his availability for the second half is still up in the air. The placement of Jiri Hudler on the IR this morning to recall Jason Dickinson may have more to do with the Spezza injury than the Hudler illness, so we might not expect him tonight.  He'll be listed as day-to-day with a lower-body injury, if he misses the game without any further update from the team.

This will take away one of Grant's possible seven projected games this evening and his team will start the night 12 points out of 1st place.  Spezza has 5 points in the first nine games, so there was some production there, so he will likely be missed tonight in a tough game in Chicago.

Jaromir Jagr might not be having nearly the impact that he was having last year, with only 1 goal and 5 points in the first 12 games, but he is still producing some.  The loss of his presence in the Florida Panthers' lineup in Washington last night is likely going to hurt moving forward, as he suffered a lower-body injury in that game.  Florida is back at home on Monday night, hosting the Lightning and we're still waiting to hear what his status is for that game.  He'll be day-to-day until otherwise noted.

Cam's team has continued to hover in and around the top 10, as he heads into the last day of the week as the book end of the group, in 10th place and is only trailing Grant's team, above, by 1 point.  Jagr wasn't going to play tonight, but Cam has no games left this week and only has a 1-point lead over Stuart, who has 7 games today.  Cam's team will need to make this up next week.
