Goalie Announcements (Oct 18)

Well, out of all those games last night, we only had four more teams qualify for Week Four in the survivor pool, now giving us five teams in and 10 teams still looking for their win this week.

Things don't get any easier on Wednesday night, as there are only three games on the docket, which really limits the number of goalies going tonight.  Let's see how many of these keepers are going to be playing their way into next week.

Jimmy Howard (Dale C.) versus Curtis McElhinney (N/A)
The Maple Leafs are on back-to-back nights, which means they will send out their backup, McElhinney, for his first appearance this season and that might bode well for Dale C. and his number one goalie from Detroit, as they could get a boost from a goalie that hasn't seen game action yet.

Corey Crawford (Jeremy) versus Jake Allen (Cam)
Jeremy's team was one of the four that qualified last night, so Cam's team is the only one in need in this Central Division rivalry match-up.  It's a battle of number one goalies in St. Louis, where Crawford and Allen square off and this should be one hell of a game, as both teams are atop the division and supremacy is at stake for the winner.

Al Montoya (N/A) versus Jonathan Quick (Chris)
I said there was three games being played, so why not put all three games up on the post today, even though Chris is also one of the five teams to have already qualified and the Habs are running on back-to-back nights on the road as well, so we're expecting Montoya to go and make his second appearance this season.
