Noon Player Notes in the Draft (Nov 14)

Calgary Flames number one goalie Mike Smith got the start last night for his side with the St. Louis Blues, but he only lasted for one period, as he didn't return to the ice after the 1st intermission, but there are still some question marks as to why. The undisclosed injury was still being looked at, according to the last report I have seen, so we'll have to play the wait-and-see game on this one.  Eddie Lack did step in and register the win in the 7-4 game last night, which is a positive for the club.

Ryan is hoping that the injury isn't very serious or else that would leave a hole in his "poopy team" moving forward and another gap that would likely sit through the Waiver Draft, as there just isn't a lot of goaltending options out there that would be better in the long-term.  Ryan's team is off to a good start this week, posting 7 points on Monday night and that was without a win from his number one goalie.
