Palmieri Suffers Broken Foot

Bad news for the New Jersey Devils, as forward Kyle Palmieri has now been sidelined for the next 4-to-6 weeks with a broken foot.  The injury was reportedly suffered in the team's last game, Monday night in Minnesota and after an evaluation, it was determined that the injury is significant enough to keep him off the ice until the end of December or into the New Year.

In 13 games played, the 26-year old has 4 goals and 9 points, which is currently good for 263rd in hockey pool scoring.  His season has gotten off to a slower start, dealing with a lower-body injury and another foot injury, which has already cost him seven games worth of action.  This injury is set to cost him upwards of 18 games on top of that.

And now it's coming up to Waiver Draft time and Chris has got to make a decision on the future of Palmieri going forward, will he pick up someone else to make up for this lost offense into the New Year or will he opt to keep him around, because his production upon his return is going to be better than anything he can pick up?

Chris' team is in the mix, currently sitting in 10th, 21 points back of the money and he could really use an offensive boost.
