Goalie Announcements (Dec 18)

Welcome to Week Twelve!

We're down to three teams in the goalie survivor pool, which means that these posts will become more about the top teams before too long, unless there is some real drama within the week.

Jeremy will be the first of the three teams to get a start in Week Twelve, on a Monday night that there are five games on the schedule.  Both Wilton and Grant should see their goalies back in action on Tuesday night, so they'll have to wait for their starts.

Ryan Miller (Cam) versus Cory Schneider (Jeremy)
As promised, Jeremy will get a start in New Jersey tonight, as Cory Schneider will get tapped once again for the crease, getting the task of taking care of the Anaheim Ducks.  The Ducks begin an eastern road swing tonight with back-to-back games, Monday and Tuesday, which means there will be some goalie swapping action and tonight, it will be their number two guy getting the call in Ryan Miller.

The Devils and Ducks are going in opposite directions this season and it's definitely something to see the Devils amidst the playoff teams in the Eastern Conference, while the Ducks are struggling to keep pace with the Western Conference wild card teams.  This isn't the same two teams that we've been accustomed to watching.
